We are looking for a qualified educator, with at least a level 2 as a minimum requirement to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual that has experience in looking after children, in a nursery setting or similar.

Purpose of the Job:
·To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the nursery.
·To take a shared responsibility for the safeguarding of all children in the nursery.
·To work with initiative and creativity to foster an environment that encourages the children's all-round development.
·To give support to other personnel within the nursery.
·To implement the daily routine in the nursery.
Main duties:
·Implement policies and procedures to ensure the Practice Guidance and Statutory Framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage are met.
·Assist in the planning of appropriate experiences for children, in line with the nursery policy on the curriculum, to meet the learning and development requirements of the EYFS statutory framework and Every Child Matters agenda.
·Participate in policy on planning, assessment, recording and reporting, in line with the requirements of the EYFS statutory framework.
·Take on the role of key worker for a designated group of children.
·Take shared responsibility for standards of safety, security, hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness throughout the nursery rooms.
·Assist in providing effective liaison with parents on a day-to-day basis regarding the welfare, learning and development of the children in the nursery.
·Comply with policies and procedures at all times.
·To ensure the Setting is a high quality environment, meeting the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development.
·To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring setting policies and procedures are observed at all times.
·To ensure that the needs of the child are met at all times, which may include cooking, cleaning and changing nappies.

We are also conveniently located 5 min walk from Surbiton train station with direct links to Clapham Junction and London Waterloo, also with a variety of different bus links. We will complete a DBS Criminal Record Disclosure check and offer safeguarding and first aid training (if you have not already completed these).
