HMP Wymott is looking to recruit 2 Full time - Band 5 - Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) to work within the integrated mental health and substance misuse team to complement the existing healthcare service.
We are looking to appoint staff who are motivated, enthusiastic and resilient, and welcome applications from those who are newly qualified, as full support and a full preceptorship programme will be provided. Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust also has a wide range of training courses available to all staff.
HMP Wymott is based in Leyland, Lancashire and is a Male, Category C prison.
Greater Manchester Mental Health are the lead provider of Health care services into HMP Wymott.
As an part of the Integrated Substance Misuse and Mental Health team, you will provide a holistic package of care to patients within the prison system, working with a full MDT to develop and maintain delivery of high quality, individualised, evidence-based patient centred nursing care. You’ll manage the assessment of mental health and clinical substance misuse needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care for the prison population, including clinical risk assessment.
You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and be looking to develop your current skills in a unique and ever-changing environment. You will have a passion for learning and development, as well as having the initiative to bring new ideas and opinions on how to improve the healthcare services.

You must have been in the UK for 12 months prior to applying for this post and be able to provide a 6 year address history to be able to complete the prison clearance.
This role is subject to a additional recruitment and retention premia of £1542 per annum
