Home Manager - Children's Residential Home
Salary : £ 40,000 per annum, plus monthly bonus incentives
Monthly Bonus: Up to £500 per month performance related bonus
Successful Joining Bonus : £1500
Relocation assistance: £2500

Haven Care Group are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the Management team within a Children’s Residential Home in the Burton On Trent area. This role is full time and permanent.

To be successful as a Registered Home Manager with HCG, you will need to possess the following essential attributes:
- You must have recent experience working within the residential sector at registered manager level within a Children residential Learning disabilities service.
- A Certified Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent as a minimum
- A Certified Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards completing this
- Experience in leading and supervising a team within a Residential Child Care setting
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
As a Home Manager you will be responsible for a range of duties as set out below:
- To implement and work in accordance with of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose for your service
- To lead and manage a team to deliver excellent care and support for young people within the service
- To carry out routine meetings, supervisions, probationary reviews and lead on investigations for any concerns raised with your staff team
- To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people. To offer supervision and support to senior staff in line with Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
- Attending childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve best outcomes for young people
- Undertaking direct work with young people and acting as an appropriate role model.
- To develop systems in which young people are consulted about the quality of care they receive
- Working in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
- Chairing children’s meetings and facilitating consultation with young people generally
