Job title: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
Region: Mid- Atlantic states
Reports to: Director of East Region Sales & Field Service operations
Job Description:
The RSM will work remotely and be responsible for generating, growing and maintaining sales at the regional level. They will work with distributors and regional chains/locations including but not limited to QSRs, C Stores, Casual Dining, College & University Hospitality, Healthcare and Contract Management covering a multi- state area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business as a self-starter and will fit well into the company’s entrepreneurial culture.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Heavy focus on generating new business in assigned territory through email prospecting, cold-calling, networking, referrals and new leads.
- Grow business by developing and maintaining key relationships at existing distributors and accounts through stewardship and introducing new product lines.
- Develop key relationships at all distributor and customer organizational levels beyond Purchasing at both new and existing accounts
- Be knowledgeable on all Company brands/products/capabilities and effectively communicate benefits to customers
Requirements and Education:
- A four-year degree and a minimum of 7 years of successful selling experience in chain foodservice beverage, related chain foodservice sales and/or distributors within assigned territory
- Experience in managing foodservice customers at all levels within organization
- Experience building comprehensive annual business plans
- Experience in monitoring weekly and monthly results and reporting to sales management
- Versed in both Strategic and Conceptual Selling concepts
- Be a strong team player who has the ability to work independently
- Strong track record of successfully acquiring new business
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills, be able to work with spreadsheets and write concise proposals for customers and prospects
- Strong problem solving, financial and analytical skills including good math skills
- Flexible and adaptable to a work environment which will require many different tasks in one day
- Self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently
- Ability to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel dependent upon business needs
Salary and benefits package include medical, dental, vision and car allowance. Annual bonus eligible based on company and individual results. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Please provide salary history with your response.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
