The Regional procurement Operations Manager directs the ongoing operational source-to-pay functions related to procurement technology and programs, corporate cards, procurement catalogues, contracts and reporting. Ensures accurate analytics, measurement of SLAs and KPI, reports on end-to-processes and business outcomes, monitors key business drivers and identifies opportunities for operational improvement. Develop and maintain a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and sustainable procurement program, identifying key business requirements and supplier success measures to those requirements.
Role accountabilities:
- Directs the ongoing operational source-to-pay functions related to procurement technology and programs, corporate cards, procurement catalogues, contracts, and reporting; ensures existing systems are maintained, up to date, monitored, secure, and operating efficiently.
- Streamlines the source-to pay-process, gains efficiency improvement through task elimination, simplification, standardization, and digitization; Develops and implements operating plans and appropriate KPIs to measure supplier and functional effectiveness.
- Manages and maintains the documentation of all Procurement processes including process flows, contract templates, business process documentation, work instructions, end-user training. Oversees forecasting and budgeting for EAME Procurement Operations and identify optimization opportunities.
- Ensures accurate analytics, measurement of SLAs and KPI, reports on end-to-processes and business outcomes, monitors key business drivers and identifies opportunities for operational improvement.
- Establishes and maintains a Supplier Relationship & Risk Management (SRM) program, identifying key business requirements and supplier success measures to those requirements; monitors and tracks business unit and supplier success to key business requirements including, supply continuity and risk mitigation planning, Supplier Diversity, and other Social Responsibility programs; Serves as primary subject matter expert for supplier relationship & risk management within the business.
- Develop and implements procurement data analytics and tools, including a self-service data dashboard that will be used by key stakeholders across the company; audits internal tools and processes to ensure data integrity for systems the team relies on; manages post contract review process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Focuses on efficiency, standardization, automation, and customer service; drives continuous enhancements to increase adoption, compliance, throughput, and improved cycle times and document of all Procurement processes including process flows, contract templates, business process documentation, work instructions, end-user training.
- Leads core administration, configuration, and enhancement of the procurement system post implementation to optimize speed, accuracy, and functional efficiency; provides governance over process and system requests including prioritization of changes with the systems.
- BA or BS degree required, MBA or other advanced graduate degree a plus.
- 10+ years of Procurement Operations experience including broad-based experience in Source-to-pay processes, core procurement methodologies, and ERP systems experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive people management experience, including experience managing nimble, distributed, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with SAP purchasing module and e-Procurement solution is required, including experience with the full-life cycle implementation of a procurement application.
- Ability to navigate complex organizations with a demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence in a cross-functional, matrixed team environment.
- Demonstrated conflict management and negotiation skills, including ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
- Sound experience in troubleshooting and diagnostic methodology involving technical, cross-functional teams.
