Role: Regional Operations Manager – South
About you:
Are you an outgoing individual with experience in Operational Management within the Plant Hire Industry? If so an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Operations Manager to join our team at Morris Leslie.
The Role:
- You’ll ensure our company’s operational strategic direction for Plant Hire operations is understood and delivered by the regional operational depot network. You will have regional responsibilities for Our People, Our Customers, Our Suppliers, Our Assets and Our Brand.
· Leading depot leaders operationally with accountability for delivering best in class customer service, and promoting the ML brand to be a supplier of choice. Managing the region in line with the company budget delivering revenue growth and cost controls.
- Responsible for the overall day to day running of the region to include regional asset availability and security, managing to a regional annual budget, the regions health, safety, environmental legislisation/compliance and ensuring that all in region follow the procurement procedures of the business.
- Working with the wider business support functions to ensure a consistent approach in the way we do business.
- To support the depot management community with escalated operational fulfilment challenges.
- Engaging and developing management teams to deliver to their potential, to maximise optimum effiency for the depots with the designated region. Operating collectively within the national plant hire team. Ensuring compliance in line with the company polcies and procedures.
What you’ll need:
- Plant Hire Experience
- Proven track record in operational management, leading, engaging and motivation teams
- Working knowledge and experience of on-site Health and Safety legislation
- Financially and commercially driven with the enthusiasm and experience to develop the depot managers
- Detail focused and organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- A pro-active, can-do attitude
- A strong character who has the ability to adapt in changing environments
