Greenbelt are looking to build our Operational Services Team with the exciting opportunity to recruit 1 Regional Operations Manager. This post covers travel to residential developments throughout Northern Ireland and has a small base office in Armagh.

Our Operational Services Team manages and monitors the day-to-day activities on all of our UK wide developments to ensure excellent service delivery.
You will have a Landscape Qualification or demonstrable background in Land Management or equivalent level in horticulture or land-based contracts management. You are also required to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be our main communication point on the ground for other teams, contractors, site agents and residents. Regular travel and occasional overnight stays are required. A full clean UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Overall Summary and Purpose of the Role:

  • To manage a portfolio of sites
  • To undertake site inspections.
  • To assist the customer care team with site enquiries.
  • Regular liaison with contractors, developers and in house legal team.
  • Working with a range of internal departments and external stakeholders.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Direct, manage and monitor the day-to-day activities of contractors employed by the company to undertake routine and non-routine ground works.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety matters on the Companys sites are managed appropriately.
  • Provide reporting on a regular basis on site conditions and standards and to be responsible for the management of an effective system of site monitoring.
  • To produce tender/quote documentation and assist with specifications and service agreements.
  • To provide effective internal and external communication relating to the Team including site information data to/from the Regional Sales and Development Team, Customer Care and communication to/from contractors/Developers.
  • Assist the Customer Care team with site enquiries and ensure a prompt response to all Operational related enquiries.

Management Responsibility:

  • This role manages and oversees all the work of the contractors employed within Northern Ireland.

Travel:

  • Regular travel will be required for the role mainly in Northern Ireland and occasional travel to the UK to England and head office based in Glasgow. Occasional overnight stays are required as a part of the role. A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
