Job description
Main focus areas to be:
· New car registrations versus target
· Ensuring full dealer engagement in MG sales programmes
· Maintaining MG brand standards
· Being the filter and bridge between the dealer network and MG UK
Main Activities/tasks:
· Build good working relationships with Dealer Principals and all key line managers in the dealerships within the region, coaching and developing the dealer’s teams where needed to achieve targets and maximise the opportunity in AOI
· Document all agreed actions using visit reporting and track their completion
· Complete an accurate new car registrations forecast every week
· Maintain compliance with MG quarterly and contractual standards ensuring that showrooms represent the MG brand to a high standard
· Ensure that every dealer completes and activates a quarterly marketing planner in-line with MG requirements and aligned with MG sales and marketing priorities
· Advise dealers on new car stock, ensuring that minimum stockholding is always achieved and that each dealer’s stock pipeline is sufficient to achieve target
· Work with each dealer to ensure that the demonstrator and courtesy car fleets are in place and maintained to the appropriate standard
· Lead dealer training on Sales and Aftersales through completions of a training needs analysis and ensuring all dealers are taken through the training standards
· Conducting new dealer / new starter training on MG systems including DOL and utilising HQ training courses as necessary
· Manage and co-ordinate quarterly dealer meetings, utilising support from MG HQ as required
· Complete all agreed aftersales tasks on a quarterly basis in conjunction with the Head of Aftersales
Special requirements (tools and equipment used, external contacts etc.):
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to negotiate
· Highly self-motivated with a drive to achieve stretching targets
· Able to plan and manage time effectively
· Full driving license
Other Features of job (shifts, travel, working conditions etc.):
· This role is field based and requires extensive travel throughout the region and the UK
· Be prepared to travel as required, be flexible regarding working times, be prepared to work weekends as necessary
· Assist with other Sales & Marketing related initiatives as required.

- automotive industry: 5 years (preferred)
- sales: 3 years (preferred)
