The Job Role
The Regional Operations Manager (ROM) plays a key role in ensuring that lawn treatment services are delivered on a timely, effective and efficient basis to our client base customers. Fundamental to this is the effective management and motivation of a team of Branch Operations Managers (BOMs) and their teams who are located at various branch locations throughout the relevant Region.
The primary focus of the role will be on the close management of the branches to drive operational efficiency, the adoption of best practice and ongoing continuous improvement. In addition to this there will be the need to maintain and develop relations with Head Office based support functions including Customer Services, Human Resources, Finance, Technical Services, Operations, Sales and Marketing.
The Requirements
- A strong Operations Manager with experience in managing multiple Operations Managers.
- A Self-starter with a passion for people development, including employee orientation toward a customer centric culture.
- The successful Operations Manager will have a strong commercial acumen to maximise revenue, as well as a sound understanding of revenue, budget and cost analysis.

- Management and development of a regional/area team
- Health and safety management
- Coaching and mentoring
- Excellent customer service and retention
- Financial management and cost control
- Use of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Production of Management Information
Skills Required:
- The ability to manage and motivate employees, encouraging communication and new ideas.
- Ability to maintain and forge good working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours if required.
- Good financial awareness and desire to reduce costs and remove waste.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Applications
- Full UK driving licence.
