REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER (OFSTED)
SPECIALIST CARE PROVIDER FOR CHILDREN
COVERING SERVICES IN OXFORDSHIRE, WORCESTERSHIRE & BERKSHIRE
£UP TO 70,000 BASE SALARY + CAR ALLOWANCE + BONUS SCHEME
Forest Care Selection is working in partnership with a national care provider who support a range of children with autism, ADHD and emotional behaviour difficulties. They’re looking to recruit a Regional Operations Manager to cover across a number of children’s services, ranging from Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Berkshire.
The Regional Operations Manager will:
- Oversee a team of established home managers and safeguard the welfare of the children across the services.
- Report to the Director of Operations Director and senior leadership team and lead the portfolio in line with the providers strategy and values.
- Support the home managers to drive improvements in line with company and Ofsted standards.
- Oversee the budget for the region and ensure each home is performing in line with the required targets and occupancy levels.
- Ensure the provider is effectively marketed across the region and ensure excellent relationships with external stakeholders.
The Regional Operations Manager need to have:
- Previous experience of operational and multi-site management working with a children’s home provider.
- Confidence to lead from the front in building a competent, motivated network of services.
- Level 5 Health and Social Care or equivalent leadership qualification.
- The ability to liaise with local authorities, education and external health professionals and take the lead with any complex reviews.
- Effective communication and IT skills.
- Ability to work under their own autonomy with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to drive across locations in the Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Worcestershire area.
- Excellent knowledge of care standards, including child protection and demonstrable experience of supporting children with BESD.
