Job description

We are looking for a forward-thinking and motivated Regional Operations Manager to join our team and be responsible for the development and implementation of the regional operational strategy. You will work closely with the Operations Director – Retail and wider Operations community to ensure we continuously improve our operational capabilities.

We support full remote working in this role; however, we are a sociable bunch and wish to meet up from time to time in our offices located across the UK.

Working with us, you will grow your technical experience with the opportunity to gain professional qualifications and forming part of an industry leading insurance broker with more than 2,000 staff and 75 offices in the UK and Ireland.

Here’s some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement the regional operational strategy.
  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with all collaborators with the view to effectively challenging and influencing operational thinking.
  • Build and develop high-performance teams.
  • Drive digital transformation of an operations function.
  • Apply project management and process improvement knowledge to improve operational capability.
  • Partner with local teams to identify business change initiatives and process improvement opportunities, ensuring to contribute to design and planning activities.
  • Responsible for operational oversight, ensuring processes and procedures are consistently implemented, working within the operational framework.

To be successful you will need:

  • A track record in establishing credible relationships with all team members and the ability to optimally challenge and influence.
  • Previous insurance market trading experience, with a proven record in technical expertise and operational oversight.
  • Experience of building and developing high-performance teams.
  • Prior experience in driving digital transformation of an operations function.
  • Project management / process improvement knowledge preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel to local offices through the UK
