Regional IT Director - UK Remote - Up to 100K with benefits
Position Summary
We are looking for a talented Regional IT Director to join our team and play a key role in supporting our growth ambitions and ensuring operational stability in the UK.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will collaborate with various teams globally and utilize local resources to drive our global strategy while customizing it to suit the needs of the region.

Key Responsibilities
Work with the local management teams to understand the regions direction, key opportunities and pain points.
- Collaborate with the International CTO to refine the international strategy and implement local roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Set and manage the local IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Regularly review and report on the IT budget performance, identifying areas for optimization and cost control.
- In combination with Snr Manager, UK Infrastructure, ensure high availability and performance of IT platforms and solutions.
- Coordinate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and provide timely support to end-users.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the delivery of IT services meets or exceeds agreed-upon standards.
- Lead and manage local IT projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations, in collaboration with the CTO and project teams.
- Develop project plans, define milestones, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure successful project completion within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Ensure adherence to change management processes to minimize disruption and ensure smooth transitions during system changes or upgrades.
- Stay informed about group-level IT initiatives and ensure their alignment with local business unit requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments, including but not limited to Loss Adjusting, TPA, Contractor Connections to understand their technology needs and facilitate effective IT support. Serve as a subject matter expert on IT-related matters, providing guidance, advice, and support to stakeholders across different functions.

Skills
- Demonstrable skills in aligning local IT initiatives with overall business objectives.
- At least 3-5 years of working in an ITIL/COBIT (or equivalent) service management and governance environment.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaboration with different departments.
- Active listening and the ability to articulate ideas clearly are crucial for successful communication.
- At least 3 years Project Management experience with solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- At least 5 years demonstrable experience in understanding of the business processes within the insurance or financial services industry and how you have mapped and improved these
- Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure components (hardware, software, networks, and cloud services) and be familiar with enterprise software applications commonly used in the insurance industry.
- You should possess strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration, build relationships, and influence others.
