The UK & Canada Regional IT Team are in charge of the design and management of solutions dedicated to supporting the business strategy. Chanel operates a hybrid approach to its solutions and services with a multitude of managed platforms.
Our organisation is professional, fast paced and can be challenging. With an increase of project requests post pandemic, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to set direction and establish the approach for integrating information applications and programs.
The purpose of this role is to understand business drivers and required capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive and support the business strategy.
You will work with Application Managers, Technical and Solution Architects to deliver best in breed solutions to the business.
This will strengthen our ability to deliver key strategical systems in the UK and Canada. The role will report to the Regional CTO.

Form an Architectural Design Authority
The Enterprise Architect will provide the necessary thought leadership, analysis and design related to developing a well-managed enterprise architecture. Creating templated processes that help develop a direction for managing the organisation's portfolio of "as-is" and "to be" to align business outcome objectives.
Design and lead the adoption of Enterprise Architecture across the line of business applications and technologies.
Manage and develop the architecture for a broad scope of projects, working closely with application development, project and service teams.
Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
Working with the Global Architecture Teams, define the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns for UK & Canada, to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
Own the Reference Architecture for the UK and Canada including librarianship and delivery of for standards and build patterns
Build and maintain strong relationships with all functions across the business and IT to understand their processes and how they work to develop them into technical automated and integrated solutions that exploit greater speed, efficiency, performance, accuracy and security
Balance technicality with commerciality and practicality in making decisions
Demonstrate through a capability matrix the organisations ability to start a project.

Architectural/Technology Skills
Experience Developing an Enterprise Architecture
Auditing Compliance against EA standards
Strong experience in the BDAT domains
TOGAF Certified
Advantageous if you have experience of one or more of the following: SalesForce, ServiceNow, Docusign, Azure Platform, APIM, Kafka
Plus (The following types of qualification are of interest)
ITIL or Project Management Certification
Security Certification (CCSP, CISSP, Azure Security)
Azure Certifications
