As a Regional Director at Witherslack group, you’ll inspire and support your education and care teams, helping them to create the best outcomes for our young people. We are focused on providing the highest possible standards and developing encouraging environments where our young people can thrive. Get out what you put in
This is a key role with a clear focus on safeguarding, quality and providing strong leadership to our Head Teachers and Regional Managers. Building positive relationships across the Group, you’ll ensure an integrated approach with our young people’s care, education and therapeutic care, making sure everyone is working toward the same goals and communicating effectively. You’ll also work alongside Local Authorities, social workers, parents/carers and other key stakeholders.
The remit is broad, you’ll oversee the delivery of quality management systems, school improvement plans, sharing of best practice. You will also be involved in reviewing and meeting with referrals, assessing their needs and how they will fit with our services and the other young people in our care.

Our young people come from all walks of life, diverse backgrounds and with different needs – and our workforce reflects that diversity, so that our teams can engage, encourage and inspire our young people to be themselves. We are looking for:
- Experience of multi-site management in both education and care
- Well versed in the Ofsted inspection framework for both education and care
- Knowledge of SEN education and the SEN code of practice
- Knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015
