About the role
In this role you will maintain and establish relationships with business support services and stakeholders to raise awareness of and improve the reach and take up of Innovate UK EDGE services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating leads through networking and identifying high growth, innovative businesses with the best growth potential for commercialisation of their new products;
- Representing Innovate EDGE through participating/exhibiting and/or presenting at regional events and contributing to the organisation and planning of a range of promotional and marketing activities;
- Managing a pipeline of potential prospects that might develop into future clients;
- Using holistic analysis tools to review and diagnose client needs identifying tailored support to address needs;
- Keeping up to date on the sources of business support and maximising client referrals to the Innovate UK Family, Exemplas business support, as well as other funded regional business support
About you
You will have previous experience of B2B consultative sales of a service to owners/ boards / C-suite SME clients. In addition, you will be practiced at building referral networks with partner organisations. We are looking for someone with experience of working within a business support organisation who is highly motivated to engage with potential new clients to encourage them to take up Innovate UK EDGE support and services.
You will need to demonstrate experience or knowledge of:
- the ability to carry out general business needs assessments and present results to stakeholders;
- effectively engage and communicate with people at all levels;
- present and host at events and an effective networker;
- work independently and use own initiative/self-motivated as well as working as part of a team;
· IT literate and experience of MS Office and the use of databases and CRM systems;
· effectively prioritise multiple demands, make good decisions and action promptly;
· use your influencing skills and personal drive to achieve the best outcome for clients
What we offer
- The full-time equivalent salary of up to £37,232 per annum for the right candidate
· Car allowance of £3840 per annum (pro rata for part-time);
