Regional Account Manager
Hybrid (Field-based)
Region Covering: Western mainland UK - Birmingham, Stoke, Wrexham area
Role key themes:
As an RS Regional Account Manager, you will be integral to the success and growth of our business and a key contributor to the maintenance and development of the company’s outstanding reputation in our field.
With responsibility for overseeing and developing the largest accounts within the region, you will work daily with a wide range of individuals, from a diverse array of clients, across a multitude of industries. Using a belend of virtual and face to face meetings to establish and grow your relationships with your clients, you will create sustainable trusted partner relationships by discovering opportunities and delivering value.
You will have accountability and ownership for your area. Beyond nurturing and developing your existing accounts using a strategic and solution-led approach, you will also work to establish new business and grow your portfolio within the region you manage. You will develop a diverse stakeholder network with your customers at all levels across relevant functional departments, creating engagement and establishing consensus.
Your skills & experience:
An agile and openminded thinker, you are someone who has the ability to think broadly and who recognises that having the correct mindset and attitude, along with an organised approach, is key to success.
A self-motivated and independent individual, you are someone who draws confidence from your previous experience from a variety of field-based account management and sales roles.
You work well under pressure and have previous experience of business planning, project management and a measured approach to your work, with the ability to bring people together along a planned route.
With a proven track record in negotiations, contract delivery and success, you still harbour the appetite to learn and grown within a role.
And to top it all off… you hold a current UK Drivers Licence!
