Ikano is currently on a journey of transformation and the IKEA UK business line continues to lead the way with a new financial services strategy, investment in new product and strengthening of the customer experience - there are many things to be excited about!
To continue this growth we are looking for an enthusiastic Regional Account Manager to join our existing Sales and Marketing team and support these changes within IKEA financial services. This is a field based role supporting the Midlands region.
Your primary focus will be to support the regional senior leadership team with any identified commercial opportunities and you will be the responsible person for all commercial and P&L matters for IKEA stores within your region.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and deliver Account Management within your region
- Engage regional stakeholders in the finance commercial agenda, ensuring a quality and consistent delivery across all channels
- Take ownership for the delivery of the commercial KPIs / SLAs
- Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders
- Lead quarterly reviews with senior stakeholders
- Pro-actively work with internal department leads, taking on retailer feedback to identify process failure and agree remedial actions
- Lead and drive the agreed regional governance framework
- Identify opportunities to increase credit sales share within your region and present proposals
- Work with the Business Line Lead to develop new country commercial initiatives and the ongoing development roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a joined up approach across end-to-end retailer touch points.
- Ensure the retailer(s) can evidence that all coworkers within your region are trained in discussing finance in a compliant manner
- Monitor in store POS and web finance promotions to ensure they adhere to the communication guidelines. Communicate compliance failings to the retailer oversight team and escalate within your retailer for remedy

- Understanding of financial processes relating to fraud, governance and compliance
- Strong understanding of the market & competitors and the ability to understand and manage profit and loss management of a retailer account
- Able to identify poor performance & implement performance improvement plans with the retailer and a strong ability to make things happen
- Developing effective and trusting relationships internally and externally, managing and developing both groups and individual
- Good knowledge of sales management and transactional sales
My Academic and/or professional qualifications
Essential:
- Experience of working for or with IKEA
- Mobility (3 days field based within region)
- Driving license
- A Level or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of similar job level or role
