Job Title: Refuse Collector
Location: North Manchester General Hospital, Crumpsall – Estates & Facilities Office
Trust: Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
Hours: Monday to Friday (08.00 – 16.00)

This is a Temporary Role
Key responsibilities:
- Empty bins & waste containers of on-site segregated waste areas of the Hospital grounds.
- Collecting full rubbish bags and moving them to the waste collection yard.
- Operating and loading/unloading of Trust vehicles around the site.
- Managing the waste collection area for cleanliness and sorting bags for collection.
- Reporting damaged bins and basic maintenance with hand tools.
- Cleaning wheelie bins and waste storage containers.
- Litter picking across the whole site.
Person specification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in waste or litter picking is preferred but not essential.
