We have an exciting opportunity for an Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the Dentistry team
The Dentistry team are always very warm and welcoming. The Dentistry Nursing team is currently made up of 5 Nurses and 1 Dentistry Technician.
We are looking for a pro-active, forward-thinking and enthusiastic individual, always looking to provide the best care to each patient.
This role will be mainly anaesthesia focused, with a variety of patients from paediatric to geriatric, and everything in between. Day to day cases involve both routine and complex anaesthetics, and with our anaesthetists on hand to provide support, you will be able to build on your current skills. Referral anaesthesia experience is preferred, but isn't essential as in house training will be provided.
Our procedures vary from dental extractions, to root canal treatments, to maxillofacial surgery and jaw fracture repairs.
Duties will also include general theatre tasks and assisting with procedures.
Hours:
40 hours per week. A variety of 5 x 8hr shifts, and 4 x 10hr shifts. 1 in 8 weekends with time off in lieu given for a weekend worked.
This position can be offered as a permenant or a fixed-term contract (initially 6 months with view to extend).
