Who we are looking for

A Recruitment Specialist who will be passionate about acquiring talent, enhancing employer brand and providing an exceptional candidate experience through their recruitment journey.

Our Operational Recruitment team is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and proactive Recruitment Specialist to join our friendly team in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing area of the operation where you will be able to challenge and innovate established processes and procedures alongside the Recruitment Manager to support the continuous growth of our Company.

You will manage a team of Recruitment Coordinators who play a key part in our talent acquisition and scheduling so that you can meet, interview and hire top candidates to join the operation.

The recruitment team mostly operates Monday to Friday but full flexibility is required to support occasional external recruitment events. We offer a competitive salary, an annual bonus scheme, and a wide range of other benefits including a day off for your birthday.

This position is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Successful applicants will need to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Preferred skills and experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build good working relationships and networks.
Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
Self-motivation with ability to motivate others.
Data driven and strategic to promote a seamless recruitment journey.
Knowledge and understanding of job boards and social media platform functions.

Main Responsibilities

Supporting management to design and execute effective hiring strategies.
Developing innovative approaches to attract candidates including organising and attending relevant external events and networking where possible.
Managing the full interview process from sourcing applicants to screening, coordinating, interviewing and on-boarding candidates.
Creating adverts in-line with company best practice whilst opening and closing recruitment campaigns.
Supporting and developing Recruitment Coordinators within the team so they can excel in their role.
Liaising with the Human Resources team to successfully on-board candidates.
Reporting on and analysing data, drawing conclusions and suggesting changes to the recruitment process.
Providing an exceptional candidate experience.
