The primary location for this role can be Edinburgh/London/Milton Keynes (hybrid)
In a nutshell
As a Sourcing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for delivering end-to-end sourcing lifecycle - finding, engaging and hiring the right talent - across multiple business areas and disciplines. You’ll help us to source quality and diverse, passive candidates through multiple channels, supporting our longer term talent pipelines and inclusion goals. You’ll also provide data analytics and insights to our business to inform wider recruitment strategies working closely with our Recruitment team. We’re looking for colleagues who think longer term, have a passion for nurturing relationships and providing an excellent candidate experience.

What will I be doing?
Confidently operate direct sourcing technologies - engaging with both new and existing candidates through our CRM, Talent Insight Tools, LinkedIn, Job Boards, Marketplaces and other social media platforms
Responsible for fulfilling sourcing requirements in accordance with business demand/headcount budget by building an effective talent pool of potential candidates that focus on current and future business needs
Delivering recruitment events collaborating closely with our recruitment operation teams - both in person and virtually - to build our network and pipelines and attract quality & diverse talent to power our business
Reduce cost & time per hire by converting passive candidates into our business and enabling our business to save to reinvest
Owning recruitment content on our social media platforms, making sure we’re creating content that engages talent at all levels
Develop good relationships externally and in collaboration with the wider recruitment team, Hiring Managers and stakeholders to ensure that work is focused in the right way to deliver on the business requirements, keeping others well informed throughout the sourcing process
Coaching and influencing others outside of the team on the end to end sourcing process and best practice, challenging when required to drive a great candidate experience
What do I need to know and show?
Recruitment or sourcing experience and understanding the theory or knowledge of recruitment best practice in the internal or external marketplace, including Talent Pooling
Experienced recruitment or sourcing professional with demonstrable expertise in a number of areas
A passion for Diversity and Inclusion in all approaches
Understand and be compliant with the corporate data protection and confidentiality policies ensuring we follow the circle of trust
Excellent relationship building, collaboration and influencing skills
A passion for providing excellent candidate experience
Good communication skills & attention to detail
Advocacy of the Sainsbury’s brands and promoting the Sainsbury’s brands as a great place to work
