Role Title: Recruitment Manager - BCA Logistics
Location: Based out of Solihull 4 days a week, 1 day from home – hybrid role
Salary and benefits: Up to £40,000 depending on experience.25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme plus other benefits

The Role
As the Recruitment Manager, you’ll have a key role to play in the success of our recruitment strategy for BCA Logistics. You will develop and manage an effective, innovative recruitment team that ensures we hire the right people into the right roles, at the right time. You will manage and influence key stakeholders on a day to day basis to ensure successful delivery of the recruitment team’s strategy, objectives and SLA’s working in partnership with the operations team and reporting directly to the Head of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an effective, innovative recruitment team that ensures high calibre, engaged people are effectively recruited into the right roles
- Manage the development and implementation of an effective direct resourcing strategy that minimises recruitment spend and drives candidate experience throughout
- Drive the development, innovation and continuous improvement across the resourcing cycle covering manpower planning, forecasting, employer branding, attraction, selection and on-boarding
- Provide high quality recruitment support and expertise to Senior Business Leaders as an SME including creating new materials to support the business with interviewing effectively
- Work alongside business leaders advocating the employer brand and to drive a focus on improving people advocacy across the business and best in class candidate experience throughout
- Influencing stakeholders to manage expectations and share best practice with a focus on reduction of time to hire, reduction of cost per hire and focus on direct sourcing where possible for your team
- Manage and develop a direct team of c12, focusing on team development and supporting them to drive results; working closely with the Head of Operations
- Effectively manage third party suppliers and contracts
- Ensure effective resourcing data and insight is provided to key stakeholders that drives future talent decisions and actions and ensuring this is up to date and accurate
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of recruitment management experience
- Strong ‘service provider’ ethic and passionate about deliver to their ‘customers’
- Strong in-house recruitment experience in a similar high-volume environment/industry including developing and implementing direct resourcing approach and plans. Self-employed experience highly beneficial
- Strong leadership, coaching and team working skills, including managing performance of the team

- Good commercial and business acumen
- Outstanding relationship and stakeholder management skills at all levels up to and including MD level
- Specialist knowledge and experience of using digital and social media across the resourcing cycle
- Strong knowledge and experience in direct sourcing methods including: headhunting, social Good knowledge of various selection tools and methodologies at all levels
- Experience of managing a recruitment budget effectively
- Strong project management skills and good procurement knowledge
- Strong employer branding knowledge and proactively utilising employer brands across the resourcing cycle
- Experience managing resourcing risks and governance across the resourcing cycle (attraction, screening, right to work, on boarding etc)
