Help us create a better future, quicker
Are you looking for an in-house talent acquisition role with a blend of operational delivery and project management?
ScottishPower is investing billions in developing green energy infrastructure across the UK. With more investment comes the need for more people with the skills and experience we need to deliver a better future, quicker. So we’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Recruitment Operations team in Glasgow. You’ll become the primary recruitment partner for a variety of our UK business units, and work with a small squad of Recruitment Advisors to provide a high touch recruitment service.
What you’ll be doing
This is a key role within the Recruitment team, and you will be responsible for coordinating the hiring process from beginning to end, sourcing, screening, and candidate management, scheduling and conducting interviews and managing the onboarding process.
Specifically working within the Cyber Security & Data Management area, you will ensure we hire talented individuals for our business while giving a great candidate experience and build effective relationships with our Business Units in order to fully understand their Resourcing requirements.
You’ll manage the end-to-end candidate experience to create a positive and engaging proposition for current and potential employees, write and post attractive job advertisements on career websites, job boards & social media and directly source candidates by using CV databases, social media and any other available platforms or sources and evaluate and screen applications.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter with an excellent track record of direct-sourcing and working with high volumes either in an RPO or agency setting.
Ideally you will have previous experience with Cyber Security and / or Data Management recruitment but as long as you're up for the challenge and will leave no stone unturned in your pursuit of great talent, this is not essential.
You will have fantastic stakeholder management skills with an ability to partner with senior managers to build and deliver effective recruitment campaigns. You’ll have a passion for delivering an excellent candidate experience and working with hiring managers to make transparency, speed, and feedback a priority.
We will look for you to be a specialist in direct sourcing and know how to identify and engage passive and active candidates with the ability to use your copywriting and creative skills to help sell opportunities across a range of platforms.
Ideally, you will have worked with enterprise ATS like SuccessFactors (our current ATS) and Workday (our future ATS!), and know how to manage, report and track data to help you get results.
What’s in it for you
As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits. With our pension scheme, we’ll double match your contribution up to a company contribution of 10%.
At ScottishPower, we believe it’s the little things we do in life that make a big difference. That’s why our benefits include:
- 36 days annual leave
- Holiday purchase – perfect your work/life balance with extra annual leave
- Share Incentive Plan and Sharesave Scheme
