Brighton College is seeking to appoint a full-time Recruitment Administrator.
The successful candidate will join the HR Department and divide their time between the HR office and the main College site.
The role’s primary focus is to provide administrative support for the recruitment of College teachers and the post holder will work closely with the Deputy Head (Common Room) This is a busy, interesting role that will suit someone who is interested in either a career in HR, Recruitment or College administration.
Job responsibilities:
- Successfully administer multiple recruitment campaigns concurrently
- Provide effective candidate management throughout the recruitment process
- Organise interviews for shortlisted applicants: drafting interview schedules, organising tours, panel interviews, teaching observations and lunch
- Prepare and distribute interview packs
- Meet and greet interview candidates and oversee their interview timetable
- Prepare letters of appointment and contracts of employment
- Collate recruitment documentation, for example, the shortlisting matrix and interview decisions
- Provide comprehensive practical and administrative support to the Deputy Head (Common Room) for the internship programme
- Support preparations for the new College teacher inductions
- Work alongside the HR team on a range of summer projects.
- Any other reasonable management request
Safeguarding responsibilities:
- This role will involve daily contact with pupils and you will be engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
- All staff and volunteers have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for who you are responsible and with whom you come into contact
Hours of work:
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday inclusive. Working hours will be 8:30 - 17:00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break each day.

- 20 days (rising to 25 after 2 years' service) pro rata, in addition to bank holidays.
