We’re seeking both entry level Recruiters who want to learn about the world of technology recruitment (no experience necessary) as well as more experienced Senior Recruiters keen to build on their recruitment experience, hit the ground running and maximise their earning potential. This is an exciting and varied role, and the successful candidate will assume a number of responsibilities involving management of recruitment events and the end-to-end recruitment, placement and on-going support of Returners trainees and consultants.
You will be working as part of the small but exciting Returners Programme Team, helping to support the growth of the programme by finding, recruiting and assessing suitable returners to join the Programme. You must possess impeccable interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work effectively with both candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds and internal stakeholders across the business. We hold a number of events for this programme every month, and the successful candidate must be able to organise and run these on a regular basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Relationship building with candidates throughout the candidate journey
- Review and assess incoming applications
- Meet and exceed individual recruitment targets
- Conduct and assess telephone interviews
- Understand the purpose of social media to source and engage with potential candidates
- Run and lead events such as opening mornings or assessment centres
- Provide basic feedback to candidates (both successful and unsuccessful)
- Ensure candidates are provided with all information and support necessary to have a smooth on boarding experience
- Follow up with successful candidates to maximise candidate conversion
About the Candidate:
- Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience
- Previous experience within recruitment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ambitious and target driven
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of FDM purpose and value proposition
- Excellent time management and administration abilities
- Able to build effective professional relationships internally and externally and be a team player
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Professional approach
- Fully IT literate
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience of working in a target based environment
- Experience in a recruitment environment
- Experience/understanding of the IT industry and “Returner” market
