Senior Recruiter (Surge Recruitment Outsourcing Engagements)

This position requires the ability to work on site from our client's Headquarters in Bethesda, MD 2-3 days/week.
To support the hiring needs of our customers through our Surge Recruitment Outsourcing Projects we have a need to hire a Senior Recruiter. This Senior Recruiter will report to one of our Delivery Managers and will be responsible for the identification, engagement, and screening of cleared technical talent that fills the hiring needs of our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle recruiting responsibilities from sourcing to offer negotiation on cleared and non-cleared positions
- Consistently meets company recruiting KPIs from initial candidate submittal through offer extension
- Consistently meets customer and/or project KPI from initial candidate submittal through offer extension
- Leverage Boolean strings and keyword search to source qualified candidates for planned or open positions utilizing the following:
- Social media
- Internal applicant tracking system
- Employee referrals
- Candidate referrals
- Open web searches
- Job boards
- Identifies associations, organizations, etc. for diversity recruitment to create and maintain a diverse talent pool
- Work independently to communicate our customers’ employee value proposition via recruiting marketing campaigns (phone, text, email, and social media)
- Thoroughly screen and qualify potential candidates against assigned requisition qualifications and skills
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to all candidates that are being engaged
- Build and maintain a trusted relationships with clients
- Develop candidate narratives that capture candidates’ experiences and effectively sells candidates to internal hiring managers and partners
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Independently negotiate candidate salaries on behalf of the company and clients and set salary expectations with candidates upfront to increase the likelihood that candidates will accept offers post-interview
- Maintains strong relationships with candidates that have accepted contingent offers and/or are in the clearance crossover process
- Show resilience and creativity to overcome the inherent challenges of staffing in the cleared and/or highly competitive labor markets
- Monitors and tracks key metrics to determine the success of sourcing channels
To qualify for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of corporate or agency recruiting experience supporting technical skill sets in the cleared government space
- Proven experience successfully hiring talent with an active polygraph clearance
- MUST HAVE an active LinkedIn Profile with an established network within the GOVCON industry
- Holds themselves to the highest standards of performance and is results driven
- Excellent experience building and leveraging Boolean search strings across multiple sourcing channels
- Proven success selling employment opportunities and successfully extending and negotiating employment offers
- An interest in providing training, guidance, and mentorship to Junior recruiters
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to volunteer during our Veteran training class
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
