This is a fantastic opportunity to join Chancellors Head Office in Bracknell to head up the Internal Recruitment team. Previous management experience is desirable however not essential.
As the Recruitment Team Manager, you will need to:
- Line manage the internal recruitment team, currently a team of 4, to maximise their performance in recruiting and onboarding new starters to the business
- Be responsible for implementing the recruitment strategy agreed with the Directors that best maximises the recruitment resources to ensure swift and effective filling of vacancies across the business
- Propose and implement improvement to company marketing, sourcing hiring and onboarding processes to maximise candidate attraction and conversion through to successful starter
- Oversee the administration of company vacancy lists
- Manage recruitment advertiser relationships to best maximise their product offering and return on investment
- Manage recruitment agency relationships within the PSL and make improvements to this PSL where necessary to optimise engagement and contribution from those companies who are partnered with
- Develop and progress the recruitment team to maximise their performance with their current roles and develop them along the defined career path within the business.
- Oversee the department’s maximisation of the company recruitment database and direct sourcing processes to allow for effective localised recruitment across the network through short term targeted activity and the development of long term candidate relationships
- Develop strong working relationships with the hiring managers, often regional directors or divisional heads, across the business to both maximise the value from their expertise but also to support them in maximising their recruitment strategy and the specialisms required to be an effective recruiter for the business.
- Personally contribute to recruitment performance within the department by taking an active lead in the recruitment of candidates, with a particular focus on the more senior roles.
- Oversee the organisation of candidate interviews in the Directors` and hiring manager`s diaries ensuring efficient processes are adhered to at all times
- Liaise with the HR manager to consistently update and improve where possible the documentation associated with the new starter journey and contract arrangements.
- Liaise with the Marketing Manager to consistently optimise marketing communications across online platforms to maximise the enquiry volumes received from suitable high quality candidates.
- Liaise with the Managing Director to establish and maintain priority vacancy focus in order to support the company objectives and business priorities.
- Oversee the maintenance of suitable recruitment records to allow for effective candidate communication and an ongoing ability to demonstrate compliance with regulatory and company requirements for high quality recruitment practices.
- Work as a senior member of the head office team to support the effective day to day running of the business
- Deliver against personal KPI’s
The ideal candidate will:
- Be highly flexible and adaptable with a pro-active can-do attitude
- Be diplomatic and discreet, is trusted to deal with confidential issues
- Be articulate with excellent communication skills and will be able to deal with difficult and complex situations
- Have the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
- Have excellent PC skills across all Microsoft packages
- Will expect to work from the Bracknell head office for the majority of the time
- Have the ability to provide clear and concise information at planned and ad hoc meetings
In return, you can expect to receive:
- £35,000-£40,000 PA basic salary dependant on experience
