Clarion Housing in partnership with the Amy Winehouse Foundation is seeking two Recovery Support Workers to join their dynamic team to further develop this exciting project based in East London.
We’re looking for people with the passion to provide high quality recovery based support which meets the individual needs of women in recovery from drugs, alcohol and other addictive behaviours.
We provide Supported Housing to young women in recovery from addiction. The service operates 7 days a week and has a concierge service operating overnight.
The project aims to bridge the gap between residential rehabilitation services and independent living in the community. You’ll be actively involved in creating a vibrant community that fosters self-determination, friendship and peer support by encouraging women using the service to play an active part in the day to day running of the project.
We’re seeking an extremely self-motivated individuals with experience of working with people in recovery from addiction. The ideal candidates will also possess some knowledge of mutual initiatives such as 12 Step Programs or SMART Recovery as well as experience of support planning and risk assessments.
We welcome applicants who may have lived experience of addiction. In this instance, applicants will need to have been in stable recovery for a minimum of 2 years.
