An exciting opportunity has arisen within the South Ayrshire H&SCP Business Support Team for a highly motivated Receptionist/Typist. This post will support service delivery to the patients and staff based within South Ayrshire. You will provide our out-patient departments and Headquarter area with a robust reception and administrative service, supporting both clinical and managerial staff groups with their daily workload. You will be based within South Ayrshire locality (Ailsa Campus/Arrol Park) and work closely with colleagues from management teams, clinical areas and patients across the partnership area. You will act as the first point of contact for enquiries, reception, clinical area/meeting room bookings and associated administrative tasks, often dealing with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature. You will have the following qualifications: SVQ Level II in Administration High standard of literacy. Good numerical skills and typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and associated packages. Experience of using the electronic patient management system (PMS - Trakcare) an advantage Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Car driver is preferred as you may be asked to travel between offices on occasion.
