Receptionist
Location: The Wilmslow Hospital
Full time 37.5 Hours per week Monday to Sunday,

Shifts can be between: 6am to 2pm / 8am to 4pm / 10am to 6pm / 11am to 7pm / 12pm to 8pm / 1pm to 9pm
Salary Range:
22,816 - 23,956 (Depending on experience) + fantastic benefits

About the Role

Receptionist is to provide a full range of administrative/receptionist duties for The Wilmslow Hospital in order to support the department/unit to deliver an excellent service to all our stakeholders. Receptionist ensures the smooth and efficient running of all outpatient clinics, day case and inpatient admissions.

Duties:

  • Meet and greet patients, visitors, consultants and staff and deal with their enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • To receive telephone queries and communicate via e-mail, both internally and externally in an acceptable time frame
  • Maintain the ward diary and keep it up to date
  • Update and maintain knowledge of hospital services/facilities relevant to the unit
  • Ensure all outpatient clinic lists have been received timely and the diary is kept up to date
  • Admit and discharge patients on relevant systems
  • Add booking forms and pre admit unplanned admissions
  • To make bookings for consultant appointments and clinical investigations
