Job Title: Receptionist, Primary Care - Front of House
Full-Time 40 hours/ week, Monday - Friday (covering shifts between 07:45 and 20:15pro rota). Weekend and bank holiday working may be required, depending on business needs.
Fixed term 10 month contract to cover maternity leave
Salary Range: Up to 25,500 dependent upon skills and experience
Location: London city - Garlick Hill

Job Description
As the Receptionist at Roodlane Medical, you'll act as the first point of contact and 'face' of the Hospital, the Receptionist provides support and customer service to patients, colleagues and clients, ensuring their first contact with us sets the tone of first class service and support. The role will involve meeting, greeting and providing information in a friendly, professional and hospitable manner and ensuring the smooth running of the facility by providing any clerical support required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome all patients, visitors, consultants and staff
- Ensure the visitor book and register are accurate and up to date
- Provide information and respond to queries in a polite, professional and friendly manner face to face, over the phone and via email
- Book/register appointments and follow ups and communicate these details to relevant parties
- Ensure patients and colleagues have the relevant paperwork
- Ensure that the Reception access and waiting areas are kept tidy and free from trip hazards
- Monitor stationary stock and re-order as necessary
- Operating the switchboard (receiving and directing calls)
- Patient room admissions/ scanning/ updating details when necessary
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a similar, customer/client centric Reception role
- Experience within the healthcare industry or a large corporate business would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
