Job description

There are 7 Radiology Departments across United Lincolnshire Hospital's NHS Trust, offering MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Dexa, X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and Interventional services.

We perform over 300k examinations per year providing a 24 hour service for emergency procedures. The departments carry out a wide range of procedures including plain film radiography, barium studies, A/E Trauma, IVU’s, theatre, dental and interventional fluoroscopy.

The successful applicant will join the team for the Radiology receptions in Lincoln, Louth and Gainsborough and to cover general admin duties in the Radiology Department during periods of leave.

There may be a requirement to provide cover for booking appointments using the Radiology Information System (CRIS), inputting data, and informing patients and clinicians of appointment dates and times.

Appointments will be scheduled to ensure no breaches of waiting times, in accordance with local and national targets.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the new medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service

Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area. It provides day case surgery, outpatients, and x-ray and endoscopy services
