Job Introduction

We are recruiting a Receptionist to work as part of our fantastic team based in City of London, just outside Bank station. The team is multicultural, welcoming and friendly.

The offices are multi-tenanted and the team rotate between two receptions on the Ground Floor and on the Client floor. The location is very central and across the river from London Bridge station. There is a great working relationship between the team and the client.

The client is a prestigious active investment management business listed on the London Stock Exchange.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with shifts between 07:30 and18:00, and as required based on business needs.


Main Responsibilities

The receptionist main responsibilities are:

  • To provide seamless guest management on behalf of the clients, including the active welcome of all employees and guests into the building, hosting and escorting of guests when required
  • To take ownership of the reception areas, checking standards of cleanliness and reporting all faults or issues promptly
  • When on client floors; to meet all guests at lift lobby/ reception areas and escorting to their meeting rooms
  • Perform room checks, ensuring that high levels of cleanliness are achieved and that all rooms have the correct branded items
  • To work closely with all other service providers, contractors and the corporate services team. Liaising with them to ensure efficient communication and guest service, and creating a 'one team' approach to delight our guests
  • Perform administration duties when required
