An exciting opportunity has arisen for somebody to join us as ‘Front of House’ at Potter Rees Dolan, a Hugh James Business.
The role
The successful candidate will be responsible for fielding all incoming telephone calls, as well as welcoming both clients and third-party professionals into the office. As ‘Front of House/Receptionist’ you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including booking and facilitating meetings taking place across our two Manchester offices.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Greeting clients and third-party professionals upon arrival
- Booking meetings and arranging car parking for visitors
- Organising catering and providing refreshments to meeting attendees
- Maintaining the reception area and facilities within that area
- Booking taxi travel for both internal and external personnel
- Completing weekly fire checks.
As ‘Front of House/Receptionist’ you will provide support to the business and its employees in ensuring that clients and third-party professionals feel welcome when visiting our offices.
It is important that prior to applying, candidates are aware of the type of work which we specialise in at Potter Rees Dolan/Hugh James and the potential challenges the nature of our clients’ injuries can present. The successful candidate will be professional in appearance, personable and will have excellent communication skills at all levels. They will also be able to demonstrate exemplary client care which is exceptionally important to the firm.
Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch.
Qualifications, skills and experience
Prior experience as a Receptionist/Front of House in a client facing, professional environment is essential.
