Salary: £25,974 to £32,576 per annum
Job Location: Head office - More London Place
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Secondment/FTC until May 2024
We’re recruiting for a Receptionist/Facilities Officer to join our team.
In your role as Receptionist/Facilities Officer it will be your responsibility to ensure the office estate is safe, secure and meeting all statutory compliance obligations whilst providing colleagues and customers a clean and tidy workplace that promotes productivity.
Amongst other responsibilities detailed in the role profile, you’ll also be expected to;-
  • Ensure your site/s are safe, secure and compliant to include all routine tests such as weekly fire alarm test, panic alarm tests, 6 monthly evacuation drills, health and safety audits, accident reporting and desk occupancy audits as required
  • Produce and maintain all office signage as per the guidance notes and templates available
  • Manage Fire Wardens, Fire Marshals and First aiders to ensure adequate cover within site/s
  • Complete building checks as agreed and resolve issues to a satisfactory completion
  • Maintain site log books for your site/s where applicable
  • Maintain information on the shared drive to include: Building summary documents, compliance tracker, H&S checklists, building checklists and any relevant information
  • Ensuring effective facilitation and co-ordination of third party contractors on sites
  • Responsible for managing staff, contractor and visitor access control permissions to ensure full compliance, including; production and supply of staff ID passes, suspending access and destroying or recycling returned passes as required
You’ll need to be a confident and effective communicator, with the ability to represent the Property and Facilities department in a professional manner.
We are also looking for someone with;-
  • Excellent IT skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of video conference and audio visual equipment
  • An analytical and methodical approach with a keen eye for detail; excellent literacy and numeracy
  • Previous experience in Facilities management
