The Emergency Department has a busy 24 hour reception area, dealing with all patients arriving at the hospital via GP surgeries, Ambulance or self-referral. The Department has a service requirement to be available 24/7 hours, 7 days of the week, 365 days a year; including bank holidays and so are you interested in supporting that interesting and variable service hours?
We currently have a range of receptionist vacancies for part time hours available. We offer a supportive environment within an enthusiastic and motivated team of receptionists and medical staff.
The role requires you to have a current right to work in the UK, which enables you to undertake the role without need of sponsorship. Under current UK immigration rules this role is not eligible for sponsorship and it is not possible for the Trust to sponsor applicants for a visa for this role.
Accordingly, we regret that any application will not be considered if this requirement is not met

- To undertake any clerical duties as deemed necessary and reasonable, working autonomously and without direct supervision to prioritise and complete the workload, using established practices and procedures, seeking support if appropriate.
- Work the required unsociable hours: a 24/7 period in order to cover mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
