Job description
We are currently looking for an experienced Full Time Dental Receptionist for our client's mixed dental practice based just 2 miles outside of Wolverhampton City Centre, 25 minutes' drive from Walsall.
The successful candidate will have a least 12 months experience and will be able to work quickly and methodically to always be one step ahead of the dentist. You will have the ability to put patients at ease and build relationships to provide a great chair side manner.
We are looking for a friendly, ethical and professional individual who is a team-player and committed to building relationships with patients while enjoying their work in a well supported environment.
Our client is a large, modern 6 surgery practice, fully computerised SOE systems with digital x-rays and rotary endodontic system.

- CQC passed recently with excellent feedback
They offer full range of NHS services along with private treatments ranging from Invisalign, Implants, Facial Aesthetics, Complex smile makeovers, oral surgical procedures and orthodontics. They also have a stable patient base and growing numbers of new patients.
You are expected to be computer literate and have a good understanding of dental terminology. This is an ideal role for someone who is comfortable in taking charge of their clinical environment and will include general dentistry, stock control, reception and all other duties.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- An experienced dental nurse with GDC registration
- An excellent communicator
- Attention to detail
- A people person with the ability to provide exceptional patient care
- Computer literacy, knowledge of SOE desirable but not essential

Duties of a Dental Receptionist include:
- Welcoming patients into the practice and making them feel at ease
- Ensuring a high standard of patient care and excellent customer service
- General reception duties (answering the telephone and emails, booking appointments, referrals, filing. upkeep of patient records etc)
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Dental Receptionist/Nurse looking to work within a caring team in a professional mixed practice.
Job Type: Full time.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9am - 6pm. Fridays 9am - 4pm.
Salary: £11.00 per hour
