RECEPTIONIST / FRONT OF HOUSE
MANCHESTER, TRAFFORD

£22,000 - £24,000PA (OTE £26,400)

Our client established themselves in May 2019 and is based in Trafford, a stones throw from the busy city centre. They hold a number of brands under the company that include Hair Salon, Laser Clinic and Hair Extensions all under the one roof, plus a laser clinic in Leeds and soon opening a new clinic in Cheshire.
Their lovely unit in Manchester has an outside garden, free parking, 5 minute walk from Trafford Tram stop and a bus stop right outside! So those without cars should be fine. No nightmare city parking! The team is made up of 8 staff, and expansion and growth is now their next goal.
They’re looking for an amazing person to enter our business within this crucial role as soon as possible. Training will be 1 week long and include learning the diary management software and a few other systems that they use.
We are looking someone with experience in a similar background and front of house experience is a must!
What’s on offer:
CONTRACT: Permanent position
LOCATION: Manchester, Trafford (M16)
SALARY: £22,000 - £24,000pa (OTE £26,400)
HOURS: 40 Hour contract
WORKING HOURS: Tuesday Wednesday Friday - 9:30pm – 5:30pm
Thursday 11am – 7pm
Saturday 9:30 – 5:30pm
What you’ll be getting up too:
- This role is the 'glue' within a salon/clinic keeping things running smoothly and organised and ensuring the best customer experience from the moment they walk in
- Greeting clients with a super friendly greeting as they walk in the door as the first person they will see at reception
- Checking them in, letting staff know their clients have arrived
- Offering drinks and refreshments throughout their salon journey
- Fielding around 20-30 calls daily and dealing with new bookings, appointments, changes etc
- Taking peoples bills at the end of service and letting the staff move onto the next clients ready for them ensuring all outstanding balances are resolved
- Calling sales leads that come in via Facebook funnel marketing within gaps and booking new appointments where possible
- Using our Phorest system salon/clinic software & CRM
- Managing the diaries and making sure the diary works with gaps, timings etc
- Taking photos and social media content, keeping things active on the stories etc
- Using Canva to create images for socials
- Keeping an eye on salon performance using our reports and database
- Cash management
- Making sure consultation forms are completed for all clients on our company iPad.
- General tidiness of the salon floor
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a similar role of at least 1-2 years
- Friendly/ confident personality
- Organised individual
- Trustworthy and loyalty is top priority
- Very competent with emails, creating documents, spreadsheets etc and must be tech savvy and up to date with systems and modern technology
- Must be competent on social media platforms
- Key team player
- Good people person
- Not shy of sales work and calls
- A can do attitude!
