“Dynamic & Lateral Thinking Receptionist Required!”
Wistaria Dental Practice is a medium sized private Dental Practice, located in Crediton, Mid Devon.
The Practice has a large private patient base and focuses on delivering outstanding patient care and experience at every stage of each patient’s interactions with the practice, with the Receptionist’s role being an integral part of this.
We do not offer NHS care.
We are looking for a competent, confident and dynamic receptionist to help add value to our patient’s experience and help encourage a successful and profitable Dental practice. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing team and Practice Manager, to assist in the delivery of outstanding patient communications and experience on an ongoing and consistent basis.

*DENTAL EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE, A ‘CAN DO’ & POSITIVE ATTITUDE IS ESSENTIAL.*
Reporting to the Practice Manager & Lead Receptionist:
· Ensure that during the course of your duties you adhere exactly to the requirements as laid down in the Wistaria Dental Practice company policies, without exception.
· Diligently follow your personal duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act, without exception.
· An excellent communicator, not only verbally but with electronic communications also.
· A firm grasp of and competence in using computer systems, including emails, Excel, Microsoft word and cloud-based computer systems in general, ensuring that all information entered in any systems is accurate and timely.
· Excel in telephony and written email communication, ensuring timely, polite and competent communications are maintained with all relevant parties on an ongoing basis.
· Meet and greet our patients, ensuring a welcoming and friendly approach is maintained at all times.
· A truly brilliant organiser, for example filing and general tidiness, along with being an effective communicator with your team members.
· Go the ‘extra mile’ as required in supporting the patients and your colleagues – we always support each other.
· Proactively and diligently build trusting and long-lasting relationships with the Practice team and patients.
· Help ensure stock levels are kept at the appropriate levels, taking action when you discover a shortage or absence of stock.
· Adhere to confidentiality & data protection regulations as laid down in the company policy.
· Be a willing and productive contributor in Practice meetings.
· Maintenance of a positive, enthusiastic, and honest approach in all aspects of the job, while remaining loyal to both the customer and the employer.
