Job description
We are a small GP Practice in Coventry. We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and register patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate individuals or
- Provide administrative support to the medical staff, including filing and photocopying, documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Manage patient records and files whilst keeping information confidential
- To cover sickness/annual leave when needed
Hours off work are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.30am to 3pm
Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of medical office procedures is a plus
