Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team here at Vale Vets and Referrals.
We are a busy small animal hospital and are available 24/7 with onsite care for first opinion and referral clients.
This is a permanent part-time role, working 16.5 hours a week, 5 days a week:
Monday 3-730pm
Tuesday 430-730pm
Wednesday 430-730pm
Thursday 430-730pm
Friday 430-730pm
In addition, you will also be required to work 1:5 Saturday's (morning only)
The main responsibilities of this role will involve meeting all visitors to the practice, answering telephone calls to deal with client enquires and book appointments, register new client onto our computer system, organise diaries, check client and patient details to ensure accurate records, take payments, handle insurance claims, dispense medication/prescriptions, educate clients about practice services, keep the reception area clean and tidy and work closely alongside all practice staff members.
