Grade: UE03: Salary Range £21,254 to £22,681 Pro-rata
Hours: A minimum of 175 hours will be offered between: 11th September 2023 – 11th March 2024
This role is fixed-term to be reviewed in 18 months
Description of post:
Applications are invited for a Guaranteed Hours (GH) contract as a receptionist working across campus in four buildings.
Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who strives to provide outstanding customer services to join the reception team. Our receptionists provide professional, front-line services support across a range of priority areas including front-line reception and general administrative support to various professional services teams and building users as a part of the ECA Campus Operations Team.
Your Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and friendly approach
- Presentable, punctual, with good organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems and show initiative, stay calm under pressure
- Competent IT skills, especially a working knowledge of MS Office packages, with an ability to learn how to use web-based and other IT packages.
