The role of Maitre D/Reception Supervisor:
- Supervising the reception desk within our busy classic style restaurant
- Ensuring all guests are acknowledged and greeted warmly upon arrival
- Engaging in conversation with guests and assisting them to their allocated tables
- Managing the flow of the restaurant, including turn times
- Overseeing the duties of the Restaurant Receptionists
- Handling telephone enquiries and bookings
What we’re looking for in a Maitre D/Reception Supervisor:
- Previous experience as a Reception Supervisor or Senior Receptionist
- Is warm and genuine with people, is naturally hospitable and able to engage with anyone
- Is well-presented with an excellent command of English, both verbal and written
- Will be proactive and respond quickly to the needs of guests and colleagues
- Experience of SevenRooms or Open Table would be beneficial
- Holds eligibility to live and work in the UK
