We are a busy multi-specialised department catering for upwards of 1000 patients per week. You will have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing a first class service.Working as part of the Outpatient team you will be responsible for greeting patients at reception, checking and updating personal details, while maintaining patient confidentiality. Using PAS, you will arrange follow-up appointments and update details accurately and efficiently. You will have excellent communication skills to deal appropriately with enquires, both by telephone and in person.You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues, be well motivated and reliable. You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure.Using your own initiative, you will be able to respond to queries within and outside of the organisation, with a professional manner to patients, relatives and staff. You will present a professional and polite attitude at all times.You must posess communication skills and be competent in the use of computers systems PAS and basic Microsoft packages. Experience of using PAS is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given.
