We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our team and have a great opportunity for a Head Receptionist.

As the Head Receptionist you will be expected to take responsibility for the reception function along with the reception team. You will take responsibility for the service standards of the Reception team to ensure total guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate would posses excellent communication and leadership skills along with the ability to priorities tasks and multi-task. At least 2 years in a similar position is essential.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the front office department, where all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level, ensuring both property and company standards are attained and adhered to.
  • Working proactively to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
  • Manage, encourage and develop the reception team to ensure all legal and Company standards are met.
  • To promote and maintain the professional profile of the Reception team.
  • Assist all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, wherever possible going the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction and ensure the team do the same.
  • Ensure the Reception team are dealing with guests promptly upon arrival and departures, following the Company standards.
  • Be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and whenever appropriate offer this information to the guest.

  • Proven experience in front office with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
  • Strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills
  • Experience of using IT Systems on various platforms
  • An open, positive and communicative personality
  • Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments
