Job description
General Responsibilities:
Provide receptionist and clerical services for the facility. Under the direction of the Business Office Manager implements policies and procedures to ensure optimal functioning.
Specific Duties:
- Develops and maintains office forms and procedures, and assists with administrative tasks.
- Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
- Welcomes family members, visitors, employees, vendors and residents and answers questions, responds to inquiries and refers when necessary to the appropriate person or department.
- Prepares outgoing mail. Receives and sorts daily mail, deliveries and couriers.
- Maintains security by being alert to residents in the lobby area.
- Participate in monthly educational in-services required for all staff members.
- Distributes and maintains resident funds, vending machine refunds, employee meal tickets.
- Give out employment applications.
- Places orders for departmental forms.
- Prepares resident wrist bands.
- Other duties as requested.
