Front Desk Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and update patient information
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing
- Coordinate projects and tasks as assigned by management
- Transcribe documents, proofread materials, and maintain accurate records
- File paperwork and maintain organized filing systems
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, scanning, and photocopying
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Canva is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
This position offers an opportunity to work in a mental health setting where you will provide administrative support to the clinical and administrative teams. You will have the chance to develop your skills in project coordination, proofreading, transcribing, and file management.
