Job description
Platinum Chiropractic is a small, family-oriented office in Walker/Standale looking to hire a full-time (36 hours per week) receptionist Monday through Thursday. We offer full-time hours with a 3-day weekend, every week!
The environment is fast paced but we have fun while we work. We love getting to know our patients and their families. It’s common to hear the staff laughing with the patients and each other. Our staff has a great sense of humor and truly cares about our patients.
Our primary goal is to have a great team that provides an exceptional patient experience. We are the leader for sustainable health in Grand Rapids. We deliver great results and have fun with the team and patients too!
Pay:
- $18-19 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- A cheerful, productive attitude
- Checking patients in and scheduling future visits
- Friendly and direct patient communication
- Ability & willingness to learn new systems & software (Genesis Chiropractic Software, Google Drive)
- Answering the phone and greeting patients
- Assisting patients with any questions or concerns
- Maintaining, updating & filing of patient files
- Updating & monitoring business’ email & social media profiles
- Maintaining & operating copy/scanning/printing machine
- Cash handling/payment processing
- Light cleaning of office & entryway
- Other computers & clerical responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of customer service REQUIRED
- Genesis Chiropractic Software experience PREFERRED
- Personable yet direct communication style
- Self-assured when collecting patient payments
- Punctual, confident and professional
- Friendly demeanor with patients and staff
