What you’ll be responsible for:

· Manage and arrange outpatient appointments for Dental Services clinical staff and their teams using the Hospital Patient Administration System (Lorenzo) Choose and Book, follow-up appointments in line with Hospital Policy to meet local and national targets.

· To view, input and update records on the trust’s Patient Administrative Systems. To keep records (manual and computer) up to date.

· To file information such as x-rays and test results into patient notes and maintain filing systems in accordance with Trust procedures. To obtain laboratory results as required through the Results Reporting system/ICE or by contacting other departments.

· To ensure that notes are available and prepared for clinic, ward discharge and outpatient appointments. To Pull and Fill medical records from the Medical Records Library

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written

· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Previous admin/ reception experience

· Previous NHS experience

· NHS System Knowledge- Lorenzo
