Veterinary Receptionist
Salary: £10.80 per hour
Location: Tamworth & Atherstone
Job Type: Temporary maternity cover – possibly leading to permanent role
Hours: 40 hours per week. Hours will include working 4 x 9.5 hours days in the week and 2 x Saturday mornings 8.30-12.30. Flexibility is required to provide extra hours to cover holidays.

Your role and responsibilities
Welcoming and registering new customers.
Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold standard care
Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries
Managing customer expectations regarding wait time
Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
Taking payments
Promoting offers and services such as Pet Health Club
Taking orders for repeat prescriptions
Ensuring that public areas are clean and presentable.
Flexibility to cover holidays or sickness
Requirements
Previous veterinary experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to travel between Atherstone and Tamworth branch

Riversmeet Veterinary Centre was established over 100 years ago and is a small animal, primary care practice in Staffordshire and Warwickshire, with sites in Tamworth and Atherstone.
As a practice, we are proud of our closely knit, supportive team. The majority of whom have 5 20 years' service! We are all motivated individuals who are passionate about high standards and the pets in our care.
